Assistant Manager of Education

The Center for Aquatic Sciences is looking for a full-time Assistant Manager of Education, to lead our off-site educational programs. For full details, Click Here.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver educational programs for schools, families, and community groups, from classroom visits to large events
  • Develop new lessons and activities, and build relationships with schools and partners
  • Train and mentor education staff and volunteers
  • Support programs at Adventure Aquarium and outdoor community events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, science, theater, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Experience in interpretive settings like schools, zoos, or aquariums
  • Valid driver’s license with four years of driving experience
  • Must be at least 18

Details:

  • Full-time, in-person, Camden NJ
  • $18-$19/hour based on experience
  • Medical, dental, 401K, and free Adventure Aquarium parking
  • Must be flexible for weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overnights.
