The Center for Aquatic Sciences is committed to the Camden community and supporting our neighbors in their efforts to increase residents’ access to natural spaces and public waterways and advocate for environmental justice.

Looking for opportunities to get outside and explore Camden’s green spaces and waterways?

Join us for a guided exploration of Petty’s Island and learn about the history, plants and animals on this 292-acre island in the Delaware River.

Join us at Pyne Poynt Park and explore the back channel of the Delaware River and the mouth of the Cooper River by kayak.

Join us at Cramer Hill Waterfront Park and other locations in Camden and learn to fish, and about the fascinating aquatic life in the Delaware River watershed.
