Outreach Programs
Outreach programs travel year-round to schools, daycare centers, summer camps, libraries, community centers, fairs and special events - wherever you need us. We also offer Virtual Outreach programs and can customize our programs to meet your needs.
Programs are available for all ages, and most programs include live animals and cover a vareity of environmental topics. Virtual Programs are also avaliable.

| Owl Pellet Dissection: Owls are amazing birds of prey, but they have some weird habits around the dinner table. Water World Wonders
| Aquarium Day: Let us take over your school for the day! Each class will enjoy time at our hands-on touch table activities as well as receive two 45-minute assembly programs (topic of your choosing). The Center partners with many out-of-school time programs to provide fun and exciting afterschool experiences. Whether working with 21st Century Community Learning Centers or independent programs, the Center creates environmental programs that inspire students and have them looking forward to the next visit.

Library Programs
Our summer 2026 reading theme:
Unearthing Ancient Animals
Step into a time machine without ever leaving the library! This program introduces participants to species that have remained nearly unchanged for eons. We’ll explore what makes them unique, why they’ve endured, and what they can teach us about adaptation and resilience.
Parties & Events
We’ll come to you with a hands-on and interactive 90-minute program that includes:
- Ocean Creature Live Animal Touch Table
- Craft (varies depending on age)
- Live animal presentation (May include a tortoise, turtle, snake, or even some cool bugs!)
My daughter's fascination with the aquarium ignited the desire to recreate this magic for her birthday. The Center of Aquatic Sciences transformed her celebration, bringing fun, education, and wonder to her friends. Their engaging presentation captivated everyone (adults too), and now my daughter's friends are endlessly discussing the fun facts they learned – the number of eyes a horseshoe crab has, how a skink smells, and how a sea star eats. As she just turned three, her birthday party will be one of her first, long-term memories - and what fun one it will be.
