TEEN MARINE SCIENCE INSTITUE
Teen Marine Science Institute
Unlock your passion for the environment in our exclusive 8-program series** tailored for aspiring marine scientists. You'll explore inspiring careers in marine and environmental science, meet industry experts, and gain hands-on experience in fieldwork and lab skills. From dissections to behind-the-scenes aquarium access, this program offers an unparalleled deep dive into the world beneath the waves. Don't miss your chance to turn your curiosity into a future career! ***Series can be purchased as single dates or the whole series.
As a TMSI participant, you may:
- Explore a variety of marine and environmental science careers
- Meet professional scientists
- Develop field work and laboratory skills
- Participate in dissections
- Visit behind-the-scenes area of the aquarium
Options
- A 25% non-refundable deposit is due at time of registration. Reservations made without submitting payment will not be valid and may be forfeit.
- The balance for each TMSI workshop must be paid in full 3 weeks prior to the program.
- We reserve the right to cancel reservations not paid in full within 3 weeks of the workshop date.
- If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 3 weeks prior to the workshop date. Cancellation made prior to 3 weeks in advance will receive a refund minus the non-refundable 25% deposit.
- No refunds will be issued for any cancellation request made within 3 weeks of the workshop start date.
- All in-person programs will follow strict health, sanitation, and safety protocols outlined by national, state, and local guidelines.
- In-person programs have participation limits as per state and local guidelines.
- Due to animal safety, exhibit maintenance, and animal health, the Center reserves the right to provide alternative behind-the-scenes access.
- Students must complete a waiver prior to attending each program.
- Participants must wear closed toed shoes for behind-the-scenes access.

Junior Marine Biologist Camp
Junior Marine Biologist Camp
Our Junior Marine Biologists Camp gives children ages 11-15 an opportunity to dive deep into the summer camp experience and discover what it is like to be a marine biologist! Campers visit aquarium exhibits and behind the scenes areas, conduct science experiments, preform dissections and encounter live animals.
Cost
- $450 per week
- Early Bird Discount (available until March 19th, 2024): $25 off
- Adventure Aquarium Member Discount: $25 off
- Discounts cannot be combined.
- After Care (4-5pm): $75 per week
