CAUSE Works with STEM Steps Out Program

CAUSE students participated in Saving the Environment of Moorestown’s annual STEM Steps Out Festival. There, the students taught guest about turtles, horseshoe crabs and the importance of preserving the environments these creatures live in. (Learn more)

The Center at the Wetlands Institute

The Center for Aquatic Sciences presented Morticia, an eastern screech owl, to educate visitors at Wetlands Institute’s Fall Migration Festival. (Learn more)

Center Visits Haddonfield Library

On Friday August 7, 2015 The Center for Aquatic Sciences’ Outreach Coordinator, Amy Penney, visited the Haddonfield Library. During the program the children got to learn about and meet a diamond back terrapin, a ball python, a screech owl and a horseshoe crab. (Learn more)

The Center Celebrates World Oceans Day

The Center joined Adventure Aquarium in promoting healthy oceans with crafts, educational tables and voting for a favorite beach. Aquarium guests, and even some animals, had the opportunity to tell us why they think oceans are awesome.

CAUSE Fuels Passion for Research

CAUSE had the chance to travel to Washington, D.C. for a national conference about after-school, before-school and summer learning programs. We had the opportunity to meet with members of Congress to share the ways these programs help teach our generation about science, technology, engineering and math, or STEM. (Learn more)
